About Me
I've always been interested in computers and operating systems, and have always wanted to explore and know more and more with each passing day. I've worked on Windows software for several years and have been fascinated by managing it and knowing its internals.
I also enjoy tinkering with Linux and I have some Linux-related projects in the works; stay tuned!
My contributions to other projects
I've contributed to the Windows Utility for 2 years, working on MicroWin and general improvements. Even though MicroWin has been spun into its own thing, you can still find me over at the CTT Community Discord server as an administrator.
Some of my work can also be seen on WinGet, to which I've contributed since 2024. Generally, you can view my contribution stats on my GitHub profile.
I also host an ultimate Windows knowledge quiz (appropriately dubbed The Windows KNOWLEDGE) which you can use to test your skills. One day, I'll continue expanding it, though it already is very big.
Certifications?
NONE.
Absolutely none.
I'm not ashamed of it, however. Instead, it makes my work much more unbelievable. I've always believed certifications are just for show, and that the most impressive work is neither certified nor certifiable.
I will continue impressing with no certs, and that's it!
My Computers
A Toshiba and 2 Lenovos; all of them laptops. I've always preferred laptops over desktops for their portability aspect:
- Toshiba Satellite M70 (2005), running Windows Vista Enterprise
- Lenovo V110 (2017), my Linux server and former computer; it began the CWS journey
- Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 3 (2024), my current computer and raw performance workhorse
My views on AI
I'm neither an anti-AI nor a pro-AI person. I only use it as a helper tool for when I get truly stuck on something or if I need it for very specific topics. However, I will get aggravated by people sending me AI services or collaborations with AI companies so, if that is your intention, you better think twice...
